3D solar feasibility

Build a system
before a site visit.

Configure representative equipment against a scanned roof. Every output is a planning estimate, not an installer design.

Rear main plane: 30.4 m² / 39.5° pitch

Select “Explore 3D” to rotate or zoom. Scrolling the page remains uninterrupted.

04 / Household demand

Add the things that use electricity.

Use the appliance label, typical wattage, hours per use and weekly frequency to create a transparent demand estimate. This is more useful for planning than guessing from a generic household profile.

Appliances and electrical loads

For appliances that run continuously, enter their average running power and 24 hours, 7 days a week. Use the appliance energy label or a monitoring plug where available.

Catalogue architecture

Equipment is modelled as compatible components, not a single black box.

Modules

Dimensions, power, efficiency, temperature coefficient, load, connector and warranty.

Mounting

On-roof rail, integrated roof, flat-roof ballasted, ground-mount, carport and facade systems with their own wind and access rules.

Power electronics

String, hybrid and microinverter topologies; MPPTs, DC limits, AC export and optimiser compatibility.

Storage & backup

Usable energy, charge/discharge power, chemistry, expansion, backup gateway and critical-load capability.

Site constraints

Measured roof planes, exclusions, setbacks, shadows, access, DNO pathway and evidence quality.

04 / Plan

Place the array on a clean roof plane.

The detailed scan is for inspection. The workbench uses a derived, tile-free roof plane with recorded limits so panels can snap to valid positions.

Suggested layout uses the central clear zone of the analytical roof plane.

Drag a panel to another available snap point. The board rejects overlaps, edge setbacks and chimney-clearance areas.
